The Movement
MOMumental Moments™ is the movement Erika Hanafin Austria leads, honoring the small and large moments that shape women’s lives and identities.
It exists to name what women live through quietly — and to remind them that those moments are not small. They’re MOMumental.
The Moment Behind the Movement
MOMumental Moments™ didn’t begin with a grand realization. It began in an ordinary moment — in a car. Erika was living inside a life that no longer felt like herself. Her child was overwhelmed before school. So was she.
On the drive, she turned the music up — loud — and started singing, unapologetically. Not to fix anything. Not to teach a lesson. Just to change the energy of the moment. Her child started laughing, then singing too. The heaviness lifted.
And something landed.
In that small moment, Erika realized something essential: she could do hard things right there, in the middle of real life. Not someday. Not after everything was figured out. Power didn’t arrive through a major transformation. It arrived through presence.
That moment didn’t change everything — but it changed how she saw herself. And that changed everything.
What the Movement Honors
MOMumental Moments™ honors:
motherhood identity shifts
divorce and emotional transition
co-parenting and blended families
ambition after 40
leadership through change
the quiet moments that rebuild self-trust
The Philosophy
Women reinvent privately. They emerge publicly. And when they do, they enter their next era.
MOMumental Moments™ believes that identity is not lost in transition, it is formed there.
MOMumental Moments™ lives through storytelling, conversation, and shared language — across Erika’s writing, speaking, media, and the MOMumental Reinvention™ Substack. This is not self-help. It is recognition.
Your life is shaped by the moments you meet with intention.
Your story isn’t small. Your moments matter. They’re MOMumental.
